8:35 am or 1:40 pm: We will meet you at your hotel in the city center and go to market to purchase all fresh ingredients for the class. The market in Hoi An are interesting place where local people show local produce, spices, and proteins used in everyday life in Vietnam. In here, we will learn about the different vegetables, herbs, fruits and spices.
We then walk through to our teaching kitchen overlooking the water coconut trees. Start Hoi An Cooking Class.
Here are the dishes we cooked:
Banh Xeo (Steamed Rice Cake) – Vietnamese savoury pancake with pork, shrimp, green onion and bean sprouts inside.
Pho Bo (Beef Noodle Soup) – the national dish of Vietnam.
Goi Cuon (Fresh Spring Rolls) – consisting of prawn, rice vermicelli, vegetables and other ingredients wrapped in Rice Paper.
Goi Hoa Chuoi (Banana Flower Salad) – Shredded Banana Flower with carrot, cucumber, squid, shrimp and peanuts.
Sweet & Sour Fish Sauce – special sauce of Vietnamese
Besides that, you will have a chance to make rice paper in Hoi An with the traditional way.
After your interactive and enjoyable cooking class, you will get to enjoy savour special traditional Viet Nam dishes you have just cooked.
